For this role we are looking for an experienced Healthcare Assistant to work part-time at Stratum Dermatology Clinics Oxford. The successful candidate will undertake clinical activities as directed and under the supervision of the Lead Nurse.
Duties and responsibilities include
- Supporting our consultant dermatologists with consultations and surgical assistance in theatre (minor surgeries)
- Venesection
- Wound checks, dressing change, and suture removal post-surgery
- Maintaining infection control standards in line with CQC
- Daily clinic checks
- Maintaining stock
- Promoting high standards of clinical care to our patients across the board
- Ensuring clinical audits, policies, procedures, and medical governance standards
Skills and Qualifications
- Care Certificate or higher
- A real passion for patient care and delivering
- A good understanding of CQC policies relating to a clinical environment
- Good communicator and team player
